KLM on WeChat

KLM offers you a new service: receive your flight documentation and up to date flight information via WeChat. After booking your flight on KLM.com you can choose to receive your booking confirmation, check in notification, boarding pass and flight status updates via WeChat. This makes your travel information easy to find in a single place, available at the airport, en route or at home. Any questions? No problem. Ask away and contact us directly through WeChat in Simplified Chinese or English, 24/7. We also answer questions in Dutch, German, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, French, Japanese and Korean.

Get on board by opting-in on KLM.com during your booking or check in flow

The plug-in is an opt-in functionality. If you wish to make use of the ‘KLM on WeChat’ service, the only thing you’ll have to do is check the box and pressing the QR-code on the booking page in case of a booking via a mobile device within the WeChat browser, or scanning the QR-code in case of a booking via desktop.

You get on board by the WeChat opt-in on KLM.com during your booking or check in flow.

The service starts with the WeChat opt-in on KLM.com. Once you check the box, a QR-code will appear. By using this QR code, you will connect your personal WeChat account in order to receive flight documentation and flight status updates.

Where do I find the opt-in?

There isn't one WeChat opt-in in the KLM booking process that makes you receive all messages, there are three! The opt-ins have been placed:

After booking a ticket at the passenger details page: this concerns receiving your booking confirmation and check in reminder.

After check in at the passenger details page: this is for receiving flight status updates via WeChat.

At the boarding pass print page: this is for receiving your boarding pass.
